Academic Challenge Successfully Defends State Championship Title

The Beachwood H.S. Academic Challenge team successfully defended their Knowledge Master Open championship for the State of Ohio by finishing 1
st out of 31 teams. Coach and Math Teacher John Kaminski commented, “I think our team did a tremendous job, especially after losing a strong group of members to graduation last June.”
Nationally, the team ranks 21
st out of 668 teams and for the third year in a row, the Beachwood team will advance to Nationals in June competing in six preliminary head-to-head competitions in Chicago.
