BHS CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
With completion of the $35.6 million upgrade to Beachwood High School just a few months away, the project remains on time and on budget. Many new and renovated sections of BHS were completed prior to or during the current 2012-2013 school year, including:
  • New performing arts addition
  • 7-classroom section of the new humanities classroom wing
  • New 1,900-square-foot visual arts classroom
  • Completely renovated science and math wing
  • New mechanical and HVAC systems
  • New 21,371-square-foot south gymnasium addition
The final phase of the project includes completing new construction on the library/media center and classroom "B" wing, renovating the main entry and cafeteria, and repurposing the former north gym into the main offices and community meeting room.

Construction on the Beachwood High School Improvement Project began in June, 2011, and is slated for completion in the Fall of 2013. Once complete, the improved Beachwood High School facility will mirror the school's award-winning academic curriculum.
